The North East of Brazil is an amazing place unto itself, but when you are a kiteboarder, it is a mecca! Every October through December, thousands of devout kiteboarders go on pilgrimmage to the 300 km of coastline that is the North East of Brazil. With an average monthly temperature of between 27 and 32 degrees celcius, and kitable wind 90+% of days, Oct, Nov, and Dec are the ideal months to spend a couple weeks (or more) dialing in your kiteboarding skills... and just plain having a great time!
Kitesource has been travelling to Brazil since 2006. We have the knowledge, equipment, and contacts to make your trip to Brazil unforgettable.
Whether it's lagoon riding, wave riding, down wind trips, watching the Pros, or soaking up the local culture, we've got you covered... in style (but not too much style).
Our 2 week trips will be full of water time, either in front of the condo in Cumbuco, Cauipe lagoon where the pros ride, Taiba lagoon, downwinder from Taiba to Paracuru, Paracuru reef break or flat water, Lagoinha, Lagoa de Jagee, the secret spot, or beyond...
Accomodation will be a combination of a beachfront condo in Cumbuco, the Kitesource Kitehouse in Paracuru and possibly a night or two in pousadas, all included in the price of the trip.
Pricing
Prices are per person, in Canadian dollars.
14 day trip
$2500 plus airfare (approx $1250),
based on single occupancy, 10% discount for double occupancy
$500 deposit required at time of booking, remainder due 30 days prior to departure.

Brazilian tourist VISA (this can take up to a month to get!)

Trip Cancellation Policy
In the event that you have to cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances, we offer the following trip cancellation policy. It may be advisable to purchase travel insurance to provide coverage for unexpected travel cancellations, medical emergencies and baggage loss.
Notice of trip cancellation received more than 8 weeks prior to departure are subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the ground portion* of your trip.
Notice of trip cancellation received 4 weeks or more prior to departure are subject to forfeitture of 25% of the ground portion* of your trip.
Notice of trip cancellation received less than 4 weeks prior to departure are subject to forfeitture of 100% of the ground portion* of your trip.
*Ground portion is defined as everything other than airfare
